David Deeble’s career in comedy began at the age of 8 when he joined the Long Beach Mystics, a now-legendary magic club in Long Beach, California. There, he was schooled relentlessly in the importance of being a polished entertainer – not just a magic act.
Honing numerous skills such as comedy, magic, juggling and above all, presentation, he won first place at the International Jugglers Association’s Junior Competition in New York on the strength of his precocious stage presence. After graduation from Millikan High School, he began performing professionally at venues across the U.S., most-notably The Magic Castle and The Comedy & Magic Club in greater Los Angeles.
After opening for such comedians as Ray Romano and Kevin James, David made his debut as the variety star in “Bare Essence” at Harrah’s, Lake Tahoe. From there, he began making numerous appearances on American television including “America’s Got Talent!”, “Last Comic Standing” and “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”, on which he performed his trademark grocery-sack juggling routine.
During this time he began to establish himself as a popular comedian and emcee at private functions for large corporations such as Boeing and Mattel as well as companies such as Golf Design, Collegenex Pharmaceuticals and Dachser USA. Drawing upon 20 years of experience as perceptive writer, comedian and variety entertainer, he now uses his unique skill set to create customized performances to highlight any aspect of any business.
He and his wife Sabine have three children: Molly, Lucas and Lucy.
